Our team Blackwood Heritage has considerable field experience around Australia (and several other parts of the world), however, lately our main focus has been in in South Australia, particularly in the Mid-North. We have a close working relationship with the Ngadjuri community, having managed Ngadjuri Nation’s community based heritage database since 2008. This has afforded us an in-depth knowledge of the archaeology of the area. We also have close working relationships with other Aboriginal groups in Australia, particularly the Nukunu people and the Narungga people of South Australia. Something that we feel strongly about is creating strong and trusting relationships with the Traditional Owners, and clients with whom we work.

Conducted as Industry Partner with Flinders University
Several additional volunteers from Flinders University have come on various field trips as we try to offer volunteer opportunities so that students have ‘real-world’ experience when they graduate and to assist them in completing their required volunteer hours as a Flinders University Industry Partner.
